Central heating insurance companies
Most central heating insurance companies are NOT members of the PowerFlush Association
Large central heating insurance companies operate on a national level and insure your central heating system against breakdown or part failure. These companies tend to have various insurance packages; some cover the boiler breakdown only, while others cover your radiators and central heating pipes as well. MOST of these companies do NOT include a power flush or cover any sludge related problems under these policies and most of them will refuse any further work (repair or replacement of parts) until the system has been cleaned by power flushing it. These large companies tend to charge a lot more for a power flush than local specialist companies (like our members). If you need a power flush done at a reasonable cost, search for our local members.
Complaints or inquiries: We can't handle any inquiries or complaints regarding these insurance companies (unless they are members of ours). Any such complaints have to be made to the Financial Ombudsmen or to the company in question, directly.
Please note: Our member companies will always display our logo on their website. If they claim to be members, but don't display any logo. They are probably NOT one of our members.
